Tumalo Falls is one of the more scenic areas in Central Oregon, and it’s an easy drive west from downtown Bend. There’s an overlook (short walk) and interpretive site and a picnic area. If you want to make a hike of it — and you should — there are many trails in the area. Hike upstream along the creek and you’ll run into more waterfalls.  Directions are easy… take Highway 20 east to 3rd Avenue south. Turn right on Franklin Avenue and head west from downtown Bend to Galveston Road which turns into Skyliner Drive and leads to the gravel Tumalo Falls Road.

Metolius River - The head of the Metolius is one of the most serene and a beautiful spot in Central Oregon and it’s known as a world class fly fishing river. It’s also very east to get to. Just drive 10 miles west of Sisters to the entrance to Camp Sherman and follow the signs along Road 14. They’ll point you to an expansive parking area where you can walk down a paved path about 300 yards to an overlook that treats you to a calendar shot of the headwaters and Mt. Jefferson.
Be sure to stop at the Camp Sherman for the latest fishing reports and regulations for this challenging river. The store also sells a wide selection of equipment & flies appropriate for this river.
Wizard Falls Fish Hatchery - From the Camp Sherman store head further north to visit Wizard Falls Fish Hatchery. When you cross the bridge over the Metolius River and enter Wizard Falls, you know this is a special place. The clear, aquamarine color of the river water leads into a pristine grassy area and gentle paths winding through the 35-acre site. Various open tanks house the different fish species raised at the hatchery.

Rainbow, brook, cutthroat and trophy trout, kokanee and Atlantic salmon are part of the 3 million fish on display. Wizard Falls is open from 8:00am-7:00pm. Take Hwy 20 west out of Sisters for 10 miles. At the Camp Sherman road sign - Road 14 - turn right and travel 10 miles to the hatchery entrance.

Wednesday - June 20th
After we are all settled and finished dinner, join us at the Tea House and in the picnic area near the pool for Games & Guffaws. Sisters are asked to bring a game of their choice – “Left/Right/Center”, “Farkle” (aka 10,000), Cards, Mexican Train Dominos, etc. – for an evening of fun.

Thursday - June 21st

The recipient of this year’s auction proceeds, Healing Reins is an amazing program that has connected riders with specials needs to horses with special gifts since 1999.  Some riders are physically disabled, others mentally challenged. All are joined by a common experience – the joy of independence, the freedom to fly without wings, the connection of hand to rein, skin to coat, heart to beating heart. This tour is well worth the time. Click here for directions.

Auction - Dress up and join us for some auction fun before and after dinner. We will open with silent bidding from 4:00-6:00pm followed by live bidding at until everything's “going once, going twice… sold”! If the Les Schwab professionals find anything to be worried about they will leave a note with service recommendations.
For lunch we encourage you to visit the 10th Annual Bite of Bend in downtown Bend.  This event is free to the public and includes a live Top Chef competition, performance stage, beer garden, fine food and wine, the 3rd Annual Beer Run and much more.  If you go, be sure to save room for dinner!

After dinner we’ll dance the night away with a local DJ who will be playing your favorite tunes.
